USCIS Working to Simplify Online Case Processing System
USCIS is working towards improving and simplifying its current online case processing system. This comes as part of their goal to improve transparency, efficiency, and customer service. These changes will help customers get quicker responses to their questions and inquiries on the website.
With the new changes, customers can immediately find the processing time for their particular case when they log into their account rather than seeing an aggregate of all case types. Additional changes include adding a case inquiry tool where customers can put in their receipt number and date, and get an immediate response as to whether they should contact USCIS regarding their case, and making a new Frequently Asked Questions.
As always processing times are only a reference point and each case is different. They are not a measure of how long a case should take.
