DOD Closes Diversity Lottery 2019 Due to Technical Issues
Due to technical difficulties, the Department of State has closed the DV-2019 entry period, that only began on October 3, 2017. All applications received October 3 -10 are considered not valid and have been excluded from the system.
The DOD has since resolved its technical issue and will reopen the entry period at noon on October 18 and will run until November 22. 2017. Only entries submitted during this entry period will be accepted.
If you received a submission confirmation number from a submission done between October 3 – 10, it is NOT valid and should be discarded immediately. If you submitted an application October 3 – 10, you are advised to resubmit on October 18 to ensure your submission is included in the lottery.
