U.S. Department of State Final Rule Allowing Visa Revocation
The U.S. Department of State advanced copy of a final rule amending the Department’s revocation regulations to broaden the authority of a consular officer to revoke a visa at any time subsequent to issuance of the visa, in his or her discretion. The rule also allows consular officers, as well as other designated Department officials, to revoke a visa provisionally while considering a final visa revocation.
